The history of Stammen Insurance.
Pete Stammen started his agency in 1953, and C.A. Stubbs founded his agency in 1919. In August of 1993, Paragon Insurance Agency was purchased and Stammen-Paragon Insurance Agency was created. In May 2016, Stammen Insurance expanded the business through the purchase of the Ruppert Insurance Agency. Chuck, Bill, and Mark Stammen sold the agency in May of 2017 to Cody Muhlenkamp, Josh Schmackers, and Jason Stover. In 2018, Stammen Insurance expanded its operational footprint by opening a branch office in Coldwater, OH. August 2020 included a partnership with CareSurance for Medicare and Individual Health Insurance services. Now, with four office locations across Ohio, we are here to serve your needs locally and beyond as we have for over 100 years.
