Cody earned his undergraduate degree in business from Ball State University in 2010 and completed his MBA in 2012. He also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Cody maintains a broad, up‑to‑date understanding across all lines of insurance, with a primary focus on new business development and mentoring newer producers as they grow and succeed.
The agency operates on a simple but unwavering principle: do it the right way. Rather than competing solely on price, Cody believes in partnering with top‑tier carriers and providing long‑term value through strong coverage and dependable claims support.
Since acquiring the agency in 2017 along with Josh Schmackers and Jason Stover, one of the most rewarding aspects of Cody’s work has been helping clients navigate significant losses—including tornadoes, windstorms, fires, and major liability claims. Supporting families as they rebuild and helping businesses continue operating after difficult situations reinforces the true purpose behind the work done at Stammen Insurance.
Outside the office, Cody is actively involved in the community through MAV Youth Mentoring and service on the MED Foundation Board. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the lake with his wife and kids and cheering on his favorite teams—the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, Ball State Cardinals, and Ohio State Buckeyes.
