Contact Cody
Cody earned his undergraduate degree in Business from Ball State University in 2010, where he was a four-year letterman for the Cardinal football team. He went on to earn his MBA in 2012 and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Since acquiring Stammen Insurance in 2017 alongside Josh Schmackers and Jason Stover, Cody has focused on company growth. Most recently expanding the agency’s presence in the Muncie market while mentoring newer producers and helping them build successful careers in insurance.
At Stammen Insurance, Cody believes in a simple but unwavering principle: do it the right way. That means looking beyond price to partner with top-tier insurance carriers and deliver value through strong coverage, responsive service, and dependable claims support.
One of the most rewarding parts of Cody’s work has been helping clients through some of life’s most difficult moments. From tornadoes and fires to large liability claims, he has seen firsthand the difference the right insurance coverage and a trusted advisor can make. Helping families rebuild and supporting businesses as they recover and continue operating reinforces the purpose behind the work at Stammen Insurance.
Cody is also deeply committed to the community. He is actively involved with the Ball State Foundation and Cardinal Varsity Club and volunteers as a mentor to a Ball State student-athlete.
Outside of the office, Cody enjoys spending time on the lake with his wife Sarah and children Mack, Sydney, Palmer, and Archie.
